Wayne Piontek, Chief Executive Officer

Wayne Piontek brings to MasterLink and our clients a wealth of management and industry experience. He joined MasterLink in 2004, and has an expansive 23-year career in the technology field, holding sales, service and accounting positions in various regional and national IT Integrator and Value Added Reseller organizations.

Wayne has built enduring relationships with clients, who utilize his expertise in building technology roadmaps to accommodate growth, integrate systems due to mergers and acquisitions, and meet expanding productivity, security and compliancy demands.

Wayne has an Associates Degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College, and is married with twin daughters.  In addition to being active in his church and community, he enjoys sailboating, motorcyling and golf.



Bruce Kolb, Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer

Bruce came to MasterLink in December 2006 with an in-depth financial and operations background, including extensive international business experience. He has worked in a broad variety of industries, including consumer products, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, construction and heavy equipment.

Prior to joining MasterLink, Bruce was employed for ten years as Director, Operations for Vector Technologies, Ltd. Previously, he held financial positions for Johnson Controls at overseas offices in Australia, Asia and Europe. Bruce also held a number of international auditing positions with a wide variety of financial and operational duties worldwide for companies such as Schering Plough Corporation.

Bruce holds a BBA from the University of Wisconsin, an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is married with three children.



Matthew K. Massa, Chief Technology Officer

Matt Massa assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer for MasterLink in mid 2006 with 13 years of experience in senior IT roles. Prior to the CTO role he led the engineering team as Director of Engineering for seven years.

He is particularly knowledgeable on the alignment of IT technology to serve business aims with an emphasis on improving the flow and use of communication and information in business processes. He has worked in all major industry sectors on strategic initiatives to deliver business advantage from technology and reducing inefficiencies in business process.

Matthew has a BS in Computer Science and Engineering, and has been a Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) since October of 1997. He also served in the Army for nine years in the Combat Signal Corp. and enjoys motorcycling, flying and rock climbing.



David Meunier, Vice President Information Risk Management & CISO

Before joining MasterLink Corporation in March 2007, David held the position of Vice President - Chief Information Security Officer for CUNA Mutual Group and its affiliates. He had overall responsibility for information security strategy, security architecture, data protection, risk assessment and management, control frameworks, identity & access management, security awareness training, metrics, investigations and computer forensics.

Prior to CUNA Mutual Group, David was the Senior IT/Global Acquisitions Security Manager at GE Healthcare, where he had daily responsibility for Americas Security and global responsibility for conducting IT security assessments, development of initial secure connection strategies, and management of the secure connection for 50+ acquisitions worldwide. He has also held various IT and IT Security positions at Case Corporation and Briggs & Stratton Corporation.

David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Holistic Information Security Practitioner (HISP), Certified Instructor of the HISP Training Course, Green-belt certified in the Six Sigma Quality methodology process, and trained in Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) Foundations IT Service Management. David’s professional affiliations include the Milwaukee chapter of the FBI’s InfraGard Organization, the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA®) and the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)²®. David’s industry participation includes speaking engagements, panel discussions, guest lecturer for UW Madison, writing and Webcasts for numerous industry events on Information Security Risk and Technology topics.

David is married with three daughters, is a PSIA Level I Certified Ski instructor, Head Coach of the Waukesha Downhill Ski Team, High School Junior Achievement Instructor on International Business and active member of the UW Madison MBA Mentorship program.



Margaret Knight
, Director – Infrastructure Solutions

Maggie serves MasterLink’s clients as the Director, Infrastructure Solutions through business analysis, design and consulting services relating to client’s server and storage infrastructure environments. Maggie came to MasterLink with over nine years of experience in planning, managing and supporting technical implementations. Maggie is skilled in managing workflow, process and product development from design through implementation including ongoing client, vendor and service partner relationship management.

Prior to joining MasterLink in 1996, Maggie worked for Tushaus Computer Services as Supervisor, Technical Project Leads. As the primary project lead, she built upon existing practices to formalize sales and service integration methodologies. Maggie established best practices, creating policies and leading service product development, and assumed formal supervisory responsibilities as the team grew. She implemented technologies for clients such as IP Telephony/Communications, server migrations and upgrades; storage management and recovery solutions; workstation upgrade and replacement rollouts; data center and new network design; and productivity application training.

In previous positions with other companies, Maggie worked in customer relationship management, product development, and coordinated design and requirements for new network implementations for small, medium and enterprise environments. She holds a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Maggie is training in leadership and team management, Total Quality Management (TQM) tools and methodology and Project Management Institute (PMI) standards. She and her family enjoy hiking, kayaking, curling gardening and other outside activities throughout the year.



Virginia A. Kramer, Director – Unified Communications & Operations Services

Virginia services MasterLink’s clients as the Director, Unified Communications and Operations Services through business analysis, design and consulting services relating to clients’ Unified Communications and support services. She came to MasterLink with over 11 years of experience in business development and analysis, as well as an extensive IT technical background. Our clients benefit from her knowledge and expertise in various technologies, as well as her experience in business analysis, project management and process.

Prior to joining MasterLink, Virginia was employed with Tushaus Computer Services as a Computer Telephony Manager, where she designed and implemented IP Telephony solutions and call centers. Virginia developed best practices in implementing voice solutions that are recognized in the industry. She was responsible for pre-sales support as well as managing a team of voice implementation specialists, and provided extensive consulting as it related to design, implementation and management of Customer Service Call Centers.

In previous positions, she provided business analysis consulting in the areas of strategic technology planning, disaster recovery planning, software evaluation and assessment, helpdesk support center design and planning, software training and project management services. Virginia also served as an instructor at WCTC for over seven years, teaching various introductory networking and computer classes.

Virginia is a trained graphic designer, and prior to choosing a career in technology, she held a variety of marketing and sales support positions. She holds a BA in Marketing/Graphic Arts from Mount Mary College and is currently participating in leadership and team management training. Virginia continues to enjoy her art background by painting and teaching local artists how to enjoy the arts.



Michele Liederbach
, Director of Marketing

Michele joined MasterLink in 2005 with 25 years of experience in marketing, product development and communications. She has worked for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer organizations, in corporate and agency environments. Michele has experience in many industries, including various types of manufacturing, insurance, hospitality, retail, and distribution.

Prior to joining MasterLink, Michele was a Marketing Consultant for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wisconsin, where she was responsible for individual and small group product development and promotion. Over her career, she has had leadership roles in strategic planning, new product development, market research, marketing communications, public relations, technical writing and sales training.

Michele has a BA in English from Carroll College and an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University. She is married with one daughter and three stepsons, and is very active in her church, Girl Scouts and her community. Michele is an avid reader and enjoys music and travel. Since she possesses no athletic skills whatsoever, she lives vicariously through chauffeuring and spectating at her children’s various sporting events.



Dave Southgate
, Director – Engineering & Services

Dave is a proven quality and results oriented leader with experience in diversified environments. He has managed service, engineering, operations, and sourcing functional teams within various industries directly, remotely and internationally. He is GE Six Sigma Black Belt certified and trained in Lean tools and techniques.

Prior to joining MasterLink in 2006, Dave had a nearly 20-year career with GE. His last position was Manager, Content Engineering & Management (CEM), Healthcare Services, where he was responsible for development, packaging and delivery of Service and Operator documentation of Milwaukee-based product lines for MR, CT, PET & XR. In previous positions, he was responsible for parts transfer programs, evaluation and selection of proposed service programs, and technical support and customer satisfaction for field service engineers and end-user customers. Dave himself worked as an engineer both at GE and Lockheed Aircraft Services.

Dave also spent 22 years in the U.S. Navy, four in active duty and 18+ years in active reserve, where he achieved an E6 rank. He holds a BS in Electronic Engineering Technology from Cal Poly in Pomona, CA and an MBA from Devry University, Keller, in Milwaukee. He is married with two sons and enjoys outdoor sports and activities such as softball, camping, fishing and hunting. Dave is very active in the community with charity and non-profit events for various causes such as cancer and the Girl Scouts.
